Hey everyone! Halloween is coming up faster than expected and what is a better way to celebrate then making delicious snacks? Giving that we are a diverse school, I put together a variety of “spooky” snacks everyone can prepare in a short amount of time. Depending on what you like, sweet, salty, or even healthy all of these recipes can be made in under 30 minutes. Ghost Pizza Bagels
Salt and Filling:
According to the website, Delish.com the total time to make these is 20 minutes! It is considerably easy and less messy than a normal snack to make. The ideal amount that this snack can provide is 8 servings! This warm snack can be a great food to serve at a bonfire on a chilly night. Let’s get down to basics, here is the ingredients you will need to make this “spooky” snack.
8 slices of mozzarella
8 mini bagels ( I prefer normal size bagels).
1 cup of marinara sauce
4 black olives
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then cut mozzarella slices into ghost shapes using a knife, preferably a paring knife. Grab a bagel and cut it in half , then spread a thin layer of marinara over the bagel and top it with mozzarella ghost. By now your oven should be preheated, after you put your ghost bagels in the oven, cut the black olives into little pieces for eyes. As your ghost bagels cool down, put pieces of olives for the ghost’s eyes. Now it’s ready to serve for your friends and family!

Healthy yet delicious:
This healthy snack provides such character for Halloween. It’s the right amount of fresh and sweet. Having apples and peanut butter as major part of this treat makes it extremely beneficial to your health, and a sweet taste with a few marshmallows. Pillsbury.com shows the perfect balance between health being able to still have fun over the holidays. The total time to make these nutritious treats is only 10 minutes and serves enough for 4. Here is the amount of ingredients you will need to have a balanced amount of delicious!
4 red apples
10 teaspoons creamy or crunchy peanut butter
20 miniature marshmallows
Wash off the apples and cut them into quarters. Then cut each quarter into 4 slices. Spread ½ of a teaspoon of peanut butter on one side of each slice. Then with the miniature marshmallows put 5 of them on the side of the peanut buttered apple. Finally, take another slice of an apple and spread ½ teaspoon on its side, take both pieces of the apple and put them together, repeat this process. A great way to start off the season with nutrition!

Wait 2-5 minutes until the icing has dried. Pipe decorating icing around the base of each Hershey’s chocolate kiss. Decorate the cookie as wanted, with sprinkles and decorating icing. Enjoy a quick chocolate snack this season with someone you love and adore!
