Recently a new club was created by a freshman named Damien Toutant.

Damien started this club with his friend Alyssa Bone, who were both hoping to start a lego club.

“We wanted to start [a lego club] at our middle school, but I joined too late, and the middle school probably wouldn’t allow us to have one anyways,” said Damien.

Lego club is a brand new club that was created mostly “for design,” but they hope to soon join Lego building competitions along with huge robotic builds. Damien also stated that, since there are only 6 members, the club is just in the designing and building phrase. He hopes that when he gets more members he can get the club members into a competition before it ends.

The club was created just for fun along with providing a club for Damien and his friends to “de-stress.” In addition, it was created with the purpose to give pressured teenagers a nice and relaxing environment, along with letting teens make friends and act like a kid again.

The club has an entrance fee of six dollars. “The purpose of paying is so you pay for the lego kits Damien buys for everyone,” says Alyssa. The money paid goes towards new lego kits every week, and the $1000 lego set that Damien has his eyes on for the club to build and use in tournaments.
