In a new post from Tuesday, September 23, 2025, Zuza Beine’s parents posted a picture of Zuza on a beach, with a lengthy caption about Zuza’s passing and her final days, before losing her lifetime battle to cancer on Monday. The post opened by stating, “It is with broken hearts that we share that Zuza died yesterday morning.”
Near the end of the post, her parents write that they are starting a fundraising campaign for her recently deceased uncle and his children. People can donate to this cause through her Venmo.
It was explained through multiple Q&As that Zuza posted to her Instagram and TikTok that she had been dealing with cancer since she was three years old. She was first diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), and the cancer returned multiple times over her 11-year battle.
Zuza’s last few videos were expressing the pain she was facing, posting an Instagram Reel with the caption, “I can barely walk right now I’m in so much pain.”
The last video Zuza posted when she was alive was about things she had been grateful for because of cancer, with the caption, “Be grateful for the tiny things.” She includes how she was grateful for all of the different hairstyles she got to try, being able to taste foods as a result of chemotherapy, and the people she got to build relationships with.
Zuza lived a life that was full of so much happiness and love. She was a member of the Glow House, an influencer collective with a focus on a young female audience, and was always sharing why it was important for her to use her platform to bring awareness to childhood cancer. We should all honor Zuza and continue her legacy by spreading more cancer awareness on the internet.
