Pacific Rim:Uprising turned out to be an amazing just like movie creators said it would be. It connects perfectly with the first movie “ Pacific Rim”, beginning with the son of Stacker Pentecost, Jack Pentecost. Who starts with describing what life is like outside of the privileged zone, where buildings are destroyed and to damage to be repaired. It shows the people in the audience that he has survived bu scavenging pieces of old Jaegers to sell so he could buy necessities like food and clothes. Eventually it leads us to Amara, a young teenage girl, who herself has been building a Jaeger called “ Scrapper”. Jake and Amara form a bond over being arrested by “November Ajax”. Jacks older sister, Miko, who was also in the first movie, bails her baby brother out by making him a ranger and a pilot of a Jaeger, which to Jack is merely a bad memory.

Down the line Jack is forced to protect and watch over a ceremony where his sister, Miko, a hero from Pacific Rim, sadly is killed by a rogue Jaeger which is given the name of Obsidian Fury. Jack and his co-pilot are given a task by the late Miko, which sends them to an old Jaeger military base. There they go face to face again with the incredible Obsidian Fury. Jack and his co-pilot destroy Obsidian Fury, and the cadets of Jack find proof of who created the Jaeger.

Near the end of the movie, we see that a one of the many scientist that saved the world as been controlled by the Kaijus the entire time, and was able to create gigantic portals that level four and level five Kaijus were able to escape through.

Jack and his newly formed team of cadets are forced to fight against three Kaijus.
As the final battle takes place in the city of Japan, and at the base of Mount. Fuji, where the five Jaegers face their first level six Kaiju and the scientist Newton Geiszler takes part in creating the gigantic beast. All but one Jaeger survive the beast, and only a single life is lost-destroyed by his own Jaeger crushing him. Cadet Amara and Jake team up in the final battle as they send themselves flying into the air, and then plummet themselves towards the gigantic Kaiju, only being saved by Scrapper in the end. With the Kaiju getting split in half, the humans declare they’ve won this battle.

But if you wait til the very end, you see Scientist Newton, telling us that the Kaijus will keep coming and this isn’t over, but Jake says clearly “ Oh we are afraid of them, they should be afraid of us. We’ll be coming for the, this time!”
Which means there could be a third movie in the Pacific Rim Family!
