The Mav sat down with JV lineman Trevor Menebroker about JV running back Kyle Sewczak and discussed how he was feeling about his season. He says, “It’s been very enjoyable and can’t wait for next year.”

“He’s doing really good. He runs hard and is a big play-maker,” says Trevor

Trevor states, “Kyle is a big part of our JV team, he is important to our offense, defense, and special teams.”

In other words, he works for the whole time, not simply himself.

“I want to be ready for next year and improve on what I have already done this year,” says Kyle.

Even though Kyle is JV, he practices hard and he doesn’t let Varsity mess around during plays. He’s always making them work hard, and play their positions to their fullest potential.

As far as running for touchdowns, Kyle sees them as, “the team joining together in effort.”

Kyle is always huddled around his line telling them good job and thanking them for giving him a hole to run through.

The hole is a gap lineman create in order for the running back to move through the offensive line.

We asked Trevor if it is hard to make a hole for Kyle to run through. He said, “No it’s not hard to make holes for him because he runs hard and reads our blocks.”

Kyle has been very successful this season, but he doesn’t just give himself the credit, he also gives it to his line.

This paints a picture of how Kyle values his team and how his season is going uphill instead of downhill.
