We can’t wait to see Malia Harton (’21) set the world on fire after high school.

Where are they Going?: Malia Harton

Welcome to The Mav’s Senior Tradition where we highlight our current seniors and discuss where they are headed to.

Malia Harton (‘21) has put heaps of effort into completing her last year at Mead High.

Harton is planning to attend Baylor University for a Bachelor’s degree straight out of high school.

Harton explained that her major interest is currently undecided, however, she’s looking into “entrepreneurship, incorporating innovation, along with marketing and communications”.

One of Harton’s  favorite memories throughout her high school years would be “making shows… for musical theatre, [just] the whole process” and meets with the track team.

Malia also shared her favorite memory: “I remember having a paint war with my cast-mate; I just had so much fun.”

Harton also recalls memories of NHS trash pick ups where she got to laugh with her friends while completing community service.

If Harton could give underclassmen advice, it would be to “not get your heart set on a group of friends because it will definitely change. You think it won’t, and then it does… So don’t take things personally when people change.”

One of Harton’s most impactful teachers has been Mr. Clark.

As Harton continues her journey, we wish her the absolute best and are excited to see her graduate from MHS.
