Solomon is excited for his next step after high school.

Where are they going?: Solomon Johnson

Welcome to The Mav’s Senior Tradition where we highlight our current seniors and discuss where they are headed

Solomon Johnson (‘23) plans to become an electrician after his time here at Mead High School. He wants to be an electrician because of his relationship with his brother who owns an electrical company in Castle Rock. Solomon will work for him once he graduates this May.

Solomon has played football for two years while attending MHS. He spoke on behalf of playing sports and said he “enjoys the comradeship and the bonds he… built through football”.

The senior also played basketball for a year and will be entering his second year of track this upcoming spring.

The teacher Johnson said impacted him the most was Ms. Megan Meyer because she “was always fun and supportive in class”.

Some advice he would give underclassmen or incoming seniors, the Class of 2024, is to “not think you ‘always have another year'”.

“High school will be over before you know it,” he continued.

We wish Solomon good luck in his upcoming years within his career field. We know that he will accomplish the goals he’s excited for.
