growing up (poem)
my favorite colors used to be pink and purple
now it’s black
i used to spend my days dancing in the rain
now i spend my days working on homework
i used to wait all year for christmas
now it’s just any average day
i used to wait to hear the ice cream truck
now I wait for my phone to ring
i used to want to be a big kid
now i wish i was little again
– growing up

I like how you clash your childhood personality with yours now, it shows a lot of contrast!
