StuCo hosting Make-A-Wish Dutch Bros fundraiser Jan. 27
This Friday, $1 per drink purchased at Dutch Bros will go to Make-A-Wish fundraising
On Friday, Jan. 27, Mead Student Council will be hosting a fundraiser at the Longmont Dutch Bros to raise money for Make-A-Wish Colorado.
Customers purchasing a drink at Dutch Bros will automatically have $1 of their purchase donated to Make-A-Wish.
This is for everyone, not just MHS students, so family and friends (along with students) are welcome to go through the Dutch Bros drive thru or stop by the lobby on Friday and donate to Make-A-Wish with the purchase of their favorite drink.
The fundraiser will be all day this upcoming Friday. Make sure to mention that you’d like $1 to be donated when you make your purchase.
Mead StuCo’s goal is to make three wishes come true; this is a total of $30,000.
According to StuCo teacher sponsor and English teacher Ms. Nichole Rue, Dutch Bros is already a Make-A-Wish supporter, but StuCo reached out specifically for this unique opportunity.
StuCo is also working with other restaurants for their upcoming Wish Week.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Mead High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
