MHS hosts Messy Run for Make-A-Wish event
Hurry and sign up for the Messy Run to help MHS reach its fundraising goal
Mark your calendars for Feb. 11 — Mead High is hosting a Make-A-Wish Messy Run.
Walk, run, or do whatever you want with your friends to raise money for Mila, a five year old little girl from Broomfield who is battling leukemia. Her dream is to go to Disney, and Mead High is determined to help that dream come true. The school’s goal is to raise $30,000 by the end of the week, with Feb. 11 being the last day.
All of the proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Colorado to not only fulfill her wish of going to Disney, but to make dreams come true for three other kids like Mila.
Admission costs are $25 for people under 18 and $35 for people over 18. The walk is two miles around the school, so make sure to dress warm. This means warm winter coats, boots, thick pants, etc.
There will also be free hot cocoa given out at the run.
