StuCo hosts Make-A-Wish assembly: a photo essay
On Feb. 10, MHS students attended Mila’s Make-A-Wish assembly

Student Council organized the Make-A-Wish assembly held on Feb. 10 for Mila, a five year old girl battling leukemia.

Seniors Nick Basson (’23) and Maggie Oster (’23) helped introduce new games during the assembly.

In Mav20 classes, seniors were asked to create posters for Mila that lined the hallway to the gym.

One of the student games was a cow obstacle course.

The student section was loud and energetic, following along with the mini games and cheering.

Members of the MHS dance team performed for the assembly.

StuCo representatives dressed as characters from Frozen, Mila’s favorite movie.

StuCo members such as Kate Hardy (’23) and Abby French (’23) worked alongside Mila during many of the mini games.

Another of the games included students chosen by their peers getting pied in the face.

Arizona Lee is a senior, and this is her second year as Editor-in-Chief of The Mav. She enjoys reading, listening to good music, and spending time with friends. She hopes to guide the student newspaper and broadcast this year to continued success.
