Link crew is looking for new students to join their LEAD team
The LEAD team is a unique leadership opportunity for upperclassmen
Mead High School’s link crew is a student leadership team with opportunities to make incoming classes feel welcome into the school and community.
Link crew is currently looking for upcoming juniors (Class of 2025) and seniors (Class of 2024) to join the LEAD team for next year.
Members of this team will be asked to help out and take the initiative to find out what students need in order to assist in any way they can. They will cultivate an environment at the school that includes everyone and supports others to succeed in high school.
Social studies teacher Ms. Heidi Hendrix-Johnson has been the sole coordinator of this group for many years. After dedicating so much time to this program, she said “I have loved it, I am grateful for the Link Leaders I have been able to work with, and it is awesome to pass it to others.”
If students are interested in joining link crew, they are encouraged to visit and fill out the Google form or reach out directly to Ms. Hicks or Ms. Harris for more information regarding the responsibilities of the team.
