Natalie Yoder, Ana Sofia Valdez, and the whole journalism class celebrate the end of their first-place winning podcast Scripted Tangents. In this episode, the duo comes to you live from their desk in Mrs. Hedlun’s room to discuss their first-place win in podcasts from the Colorado Student Media Association, spirit animals, naps, and the robbery of Natalie’s trinket collection!

Natalie is a senior, and though this is her second year on The Mav, it is her first year as Copy and Design Editor. She enjoys painting, watching movies, and reading. She aims to further improve her writing and learn new elements of journalism this year.
Ana Sofia is a Senior at Mead. She enjoys watching films, spending time outdoors, and reading. She is looking forward to joining film club and NHS this year. Ana hopes to become a better writer and leader this year on The Mav.
Jacob Morales is a Junior. He enjoys drumming, collecting records, and sleeping. He is involved in the Mead Marching Band, Drum-line, and Advanced Jazz Band. He’s looking forward to passing his classes this year.
