On Oct. 25 during Advisory class, stage crew and actors performed an introduction along with small chunks of scenes from the upcoming fall play The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza.
Juniors and sophomores were called down separately to the auditorium to view this sneak peek. As for freshmen and seniors, they will see the play two weeks from now during their Advisory classes since next Wednesday is a PLC late start.
The overall goal of the preview was for advertising students to watch the performance.
Alyssa Rossite (‘26), a performer, said, “A lot of the mythology stories that we are presenting today are ones people are familiar with. It’s told in a comedic sense and t[ries to] convince [students] to come and see the rest of the show.”
During the performance, many students could be heard laughing. After juniors viewed the performance, Hayley Hall (‘25) said, “I think it was funny and very interactive.”
Hall (‘25) said she would like to see the play since the preview left a good impression on her.
The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza will be performed Nov. 9-11 at 6:30 p.m in the MHS auditorium.
Rossiter (‘26) said, “Come see the show. It’s an amazing show, and we would like to see as many people as we can.”
