Think to when you are at a concert, surrounded by hundreds or thousands or even a couple of people; you all are there for one reason.
One connection.
Introverts are always saying that the reason they don’t talk very much is because there’s no way to spark up a conversation, but that is wrong. Even the smallest similarities can create big connections between one another.
Whether it’s liking the same band, having the same type of pet, having the same living situation, or even just having the same hair color.
Back to the concert, everyone there has this one huge connection even though you are complete strangers. With that one similarity, being the band or artist that you are seeing, you automatically have an opportunity to spark a connection with anyone.
This goes with everything.
You and a stranger have the same shoes, there’s a connection. You and a stranger are going through the same situation, there’s another connection.
I have a group of people I stick with in my journalism class, but I have this small similarity with two girls because we have the same hair color. That small likeness helped spark a big connection between us.
When I was younger I didn’t have many friends, except this one friend. The one friend that I used to have, had many friends. One of them being my next-door neighbor. We all hung out one time and the next-door neighbor and I became really good friends, and to this day still are. All because of that small connection.
So you see, no matter what you can always spark a bond with something seemingly insignificant.
