Though it opened in 2017, it took until 2020 for Crumbl Cookie to become the new trend in Colorado. It seemed like everyone wanted to try their new weekly cookies ranging from milk chocolate chip cookie to the pink velvet cookie. Crumbl really popped off at this time and started growing their following and popularity.
When a store first opened in Longmont the excitement was there. I wanted to try the cookies for myself but after trying them i just didn’t understand why everyone was hyping them up so much.
Over time their cookies just got repetitive and gross. They would come out looking mushy or raw. They must have lost their motivation and creativity because every cookie is the same or way too similar to the last cookie. I swear there is an Oreo cookie every other week.
At the beginning, Crumbl Cookies were yummy and tasty, but over the past couple of years, the quality has grown a lot worse.
Price has also become a concern. It would cost a person roughly 20 dollars to buy four cookies. That’s crazy work. They are overpriced and overly sweet. The frosting is the main show of the cookie. They pile it on with topping’s sprinkled on top. Cookies that are raw and gross should never cost that much.
If you ask me, Crumbl used to be good but they just got off track and started making other desserts that they call cookies — from the brownie sundae to banana cream pie. As the company became more comfortable, they’re ideas just grew worse.
During this past year Crumbl decided to come out with mini cookies. This all started with mini Monday where you could only get the mini cookies on Monday. I personally have never tried the mini cookies but I’ve also never seen anyone buy them either—which makes me skeptical of whether anybody should buy them or not.
There ideas may come off cute and fun but sometimes its just a little much. I think we would all prefer a cooked cookie over the design.

I honestly don’t go to Crumbl that often but I’ve heard a lot of people saying the same thing and I think you articulated it really well! I’m sad the franchise isn’t being done justice, it was exciting when they first came out. I hope they make a come back because the crumbl from 2017 was so good.

I 100% agree with this because why am I biting into a cookie and it’s literally RAW dough?

I agree, I never understood all the hype
