Senior Peyton Fox commits to Colorado State University Pueblo for soccer
She calls it an opportunity that she never imagined she would get
Ever since Peyton was little, she had a love for the soccer field. As she grew older, this passion for soccer only grew. Through then and up until now, Peyton has not only played soccer for Mead High School, but has also played club soccer for nine years and recreational soccer for three years.
Going on 12 years, Peyton’s journey continues with CSU Pueblo as she commits and signs with them for soccer. Anyone who watches Peyton can see her passion and determination, including the soccer coach from CSU.
With the coach approaching her, it made the process fairly easy for Peyton. When she visited the school to see if it was right for her, she was very pleased. “It was small but very welcoming; it reminded me very much of Mead” said Peyton.
To get to where she is today, she followed the advice of “stay determined and remember why you love what you do.” With her dream starting to come true, she will be leaving for Kansas City today to start the new and eventful chapter in her life.

We are very proud of our daughter. Committing to CSU-Pueblo was an amazing step to continue her love for soccer. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
Thank you, Marina for the article.
