Wondering what your finals week looks like?
Although finals are a norm for upperclassmen, finals week is new territory for freshmen.
Finals are right around the corner and testing days aren’t like any other day.
Although finals are a norm for upperclassmen, end of the year finals week is new territory for freshmen.
For those who aren’t sure what their last week of high school will look like this year, here is the schedule:
Monday, May 20
Regular A day
Tuesday, May 21
B5 7:15-8:45
B6 9:00-10:30
B7 10:45-12:15
Wednesday, May 22
A1 7:15-8:45
A2 9:00-10:30
A3 10:45-12:15
Thursday, May 23
A4 7:15-8:45
B8 9:00-10:30
Along with the short days, there is a 15 minute passing period between each final exam
Some tips for surviving finals:
- Eat before and in between final exams to keep your body and mind focused
- Stay hydrated by drinking lots of fluids that are beneficial to your body, such as water or Gatorade
- Don’t cram all your studying into the night before the test; space out your study sessions so your brain doesn’t get overwhelmed
- Stay calm and confident through your tests
