Shiloh Smith is a Junior. She enjoys painting, drawing and watching movies. She is involved in technical theatre, girls wrestling, and track and field. She’s looking forward to her first year of journalism, and is hoping to step into a graphic design role within the class.

We set up camp right away (in an irritated manner – two hours in a car in the heat is not the best), and spent the remaining hours of sunlight left walking around picking up sticks for the fire that night, exploring and swinging in our hammocks.

She was just as excited to bother my mom (who obviously gave in more easily, spoiling her). She now lives happily with my mom and her two dogs, who she does get along with. She spends her days scaling the walls, catching lizards to present as a gift every morning, and eating better than ever.

So at six years old, Paris got on the plane with me (she's still not a fan) and I took her back to my mom's in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she got just as comfortable again. She was back home.

After four years of living in Colorado, she grew to be more and more like me, and everybody seemed to notice as she was independent, annoyed with attention, and never liked being picked up or pet unless she made contact.

Paris loves being outside in Colorado and sunbathing like she is going to get a tan (she believes she's a human). She quickly became an outdoor and indoor cat only coming home to eat, sleep, and annoy me, which she is good at since she is basically the cat version of me.

She lived inside for months glued to my side, always learning my schedule while I learned hers (5 a.m. sharp feeding time). Her being an indoor cat didn't last long though- she was born outside and needed to be outside.

A few years after we met, I took Paris back home with me to Colorado. It was her first airplane ride (she was not a fan at all), and as soon as she got home she got more comfortable than ever before.

I brought two cats home from the house across the street (not thinking to notify my mother). The first was Snowball, then Paris. They both had issues with their eyes and both needed to be fixed, and sadly Snowball needed more care so we couldn’t keep her.

With ChatGPT becoming more profound, corporations are becoming more willing to let AI take over human jobs.
