Posse leaders work hard to make new students feel welcome on their first day (from the 2019-2020 school year).

Remember when you were shown around the first day of school of your freshman year by upperclassmen? Here’s your chance to be the upperclassman showing new freshmen around.

If you are interested in joining the POSSE team, complete this application.

The form can also be found in the sophomore and junior Schoology groups.

Mrs. Heidi Hendrix-Johnson, a social studies teacher and POSSE sponsor, is looking for capable and willing students to bring an experience to incoming freshmen that will hopefully make them feel less intimidated about entering high school.

Ms. Hendrix-Johnson and co sponsor Ms. Jennifer Lammey are have released a letter that says dates are not set yet for training, but POSSE will be expected to meet new freshman on August 17 (the first day of school) next school year.

You can email Ms. Hendrix-Johnson at [email protected] for more information.
