Homecoming spirit week is next week, and Student Council released the spirit day themes as well as after school activities for Monday through Friday.

Monday, Oct. 3 will be “groutfit” (grey outfit) day. Wear your grey! 

After school on Monday there will be flag football on the football field starting at 6 p.m. Groups must be seven players from any grade and must submit a team name. Junior and seniors football players are welcome to sign up to coach.

Tuesday, Oct. 4 is “jersey out” — wear a jersey of your choice.

The after school activity will be volleyball at 6 p.m. in the main gym by the F-wing. Groups can be anywhere from six to eight players and must submit a team name.

Wednesday, Oct. 5 will be “flannel out”.

On Wednesday, there will be a spike ball tournament at 6 p.m. (team of two) and movie at 8 p.m. Both will be outside on the football field.

Thursday, Oct. 6 is “gym rat” day. Remember that outfits all need to be school appropriate.

There will be a Lady Mavs volleyball game at 6:30 p.m. The theme is orange out.

Friday, Oct. 7 is “Mav out” day. There will be an assembly at 2 p.m. during the school day.

After school on Friday is the Homecoming football game. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The theme is blackout.

And finally, the Homecoming dance will be Saturday, Oct. 8 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the main gym with an optional outdoor cool off area.
