Marley is a seven-year-old girl from Wray, Colorado, who has cerebral palsy and suffers from grand mal seizures.
Over the past six months, Marley’s seizures have become increasingly worse.
Towards the end of Jan., Marley was put on medication for her seizures.
On Feb. 7, Marley had a seizure and then developed a rash covering her whole body.
After multiple ER visits, Marley was admitted to Children’s Hospital, where she was diagnosed with Dress Syndrome.
Dress syndrome is a severe multi-system allergic reaction to a medication often characterized by fever, skin rash, hematological abnormalities, and internal organ involvement.
Marley is currently still admitted to the Children’s Hospital. The Moore family has been told that Marley could be there for weeks, or even months.
During this hard time, Tessa Moore, Marley’s mom, has asked the community to come together to support them during this time of hardship.
Moore has also asked for people to donate items to be auctioned off. All the proceeds from the donations will go directly to the Moore family.
Marley’s benefit group is the Facebook group where the auction is being held.
Tessa also posts daily updates on Marley’s condition on the Facebook group.
There has also been a GoFundMe page created for the Moore family.
Marley’s condition will continue to be monitored at the hospital.
While Marley is recovering, the Moore family will continue to need the community’s support.
