Sisters Ashleigh and Ally Seery have been playing soccer for 10 to 12 years, started playing in St. Vrain FC club soccer. For them soccer has always been a “family bonding experience.” Soccer has been deeply meaningful for the sisters. In the future, they both want to play college soccer and Ashleigh would also like to “coach competitive soccer” in the near future.

Not only are the girls passionate about soccer, they also have their own separate hobbies outside the team. Ashleigh spends time reading while Ally prefers running. Ashleigh is a part of Speech and Debate and enjoys Social Studies and English.

The team has won 4 out of 6 games so far (including scrimmages). The Seery sisters would love it for more people to come support soccer. “It’s not as boring as it seems” said Ashleigh jokingly.

Just last night, the team won both games (Varsity and JV) against Thompson Valley High School.

The next game will be April 2nd here at MHS with JV @4 PM and Varsity is @6 PM
