The Boys Soccer team celebrates their 3-1 win Monday night in a preseason scrimmage as they prepare themselves for what they think will be “the best season yet”, as senior varsity forward Connor McCawley describes it.

In preparation for the season, head coach Shane Adler has put the boys to hard work over the summer with the help of assistant coach Jess Taylor. Because the soccer program is only a few years old, it’s hard to recruit players, but fortunately, this year is the best turn out they’ve ever had.

Senior varsity offensive player, Marcus Allen, tells the newspaper that while he is excited for the season, he’s most looking forward to seeing the fans. “I think that it’d be really beneficial to our team to have more people cheering us on from the stands,” Marcus Allen explains.

The first home soccer game is Thursday, August 24. Be there to help cheer the Boys Soccer teams on to victory!
