Haddad to remain in SVVSD
Dr. Haddad was a finalist for a job at Hillsborough County Public Schools.
Superintendent Dr. Don Haddad will stay with SVVSD for the time being.
The Hillsborough County School Board voted unanimously to hire former Clay County schools superintendent Addison Davis as their next superintendent, who promised to “build trust, every single day within this organization, empower and listen to our leaders.”
This is the second time that Dr. Haddad has passed on by one of the 10 largest school districts in the nation, after being one of four finalists for Clark County School District in Nevada but ultimately not hired.

I find it interesting that this was the 2nd time that he was passed up. Could we possibly expect some changes in the district that he would make to try and not be passed up again?

It is great to see Dr. Haddad being finalists for these other tremendous opportunities, he has done so much for our school district. Glad to still have him here though, he has been instrumental in making this district as great as it is!
