The Mav Bash has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.

The Mav Bash — an informal winter dance hosted by Student Council — is canceled due to low ticket sales.

As of Friday, January 12, Student Council had sold approximately 50 tickets; however, they needed over 200 additional ticket sales by the end of the day to keep the event running.

Director of Student Council’s dance committee, Leyna Johnston (‘25) reminds students that all proceeds go to Zaidee, this year’s Make a Wish kid and there will be other opportunities to donate.

Mrs. Rue, Student Council teacher, said “We will be calling all of the ticket holders to see if they want a refund or to donate their money to Make-a-Wish.”
