This picture was taken in the grates of a walkway, in a huge concrete sidewalk. There’s so many different species of plants. It’s so astounding to me that they were able to grow so beautifully despite the industrial environment that surrounded them.

Two little shrubs that are soaking up the sun in a Walmart parking lot. Their branches dried out, but they’re each sporting five large leaves.
-
A bundle of creepers on the concrete of my driveway. This plant in particular has managed to grow itself across a very wide area. Very commendable for such a small thing.
-
A sprout that’s blooming through the deep cracks of the blacktop. I checked this chasm before taking the photo, and it goes very, very far down. The fact it persisted in the surface the whole way through is telling of how resilient this plant is.
-
A swarm of vines that made its home in my school parking lot. If you look really close, you’ll see that some of the plants have tiny flowers growing on them. Flowers growing in industrial places are much more rare than just standard shrubs.
-
A broader shot of the creepers in my driveway, just to emphasize how far they’ve grown. There’s even a large sprout in the back, with two big, healthy leaves. I wonder how much it’ll continue to grow, despite the concrete that surrounds it.
