Mr. Lamm has been a Social Studies teacher at the school for over four years now. He currently teaches different history and economic classes, expressing how he enjoys teaching U.S. History and AP U.S. History the most. Mr. Lamm expressed his love for the unit that includes the Civil War, stating how he “thinks it’s a good story”adding how “it’s very relevant to our modern day situation.”
He is well known for being a die-hard fan for the University of Alabama, the college he attended. The banners in the corner with the school fight song and a large flag with him on the front, and Alabama’s emblem in the background is the first thing you see when you walk in his room.
During the fall sports season, Mr. Lamm is the JV boys soccer coach. Mr. Lamm expressed his love for coaching, stating how it is “fun because you get to leave school and go kick a ball, you know, prove that you’re better at soccer than 14 year olds, which always makes me happy.”
Mead High school, according to Mr. Lamm, has an amazing community and is one of the reasons he loves the school so much, compared to some of his previous schools.
He looks forward to his future in this community and how he can continually develop his position as a mead high school social studies teacher.
