John Kennedy, a politician and attorney who has served as the junior United States Senator from Louisiana, is becoming more socially relevant, but not for the reasons you think.
While he should be relevant for policies or laws he helps implement, he instead is taking on the persona of a “Republican Diva.” John Kennedy is now becoming a main topic in the hilarious commentary on politics in a Gen Z way. Appearing in video edits, political rankings, and more.
He is mostly becoming known for his comical comments on the Liberal party and how the government is being run. While politics is one of the most serious aspects of the country, he lightens the mood by saying things like, “I have the right to remain silent, but not the ability.” He’s also said—when on an official news broadcast—things like “Shawn, with respect…There are times, particularly recently, when I think Speaker Pelosi is one of those people who tried…uh…Tide Pods.”
Using his witty one-liners and his southern charm, he says blunt comments that should be in a sitcom rather than the Senate, yet no one complains. On more of a serious note, this demonstrates how politics is transforming into a media performance.
In one of his political campaign ads, he is shown saying things like, “If you hate cops just because they’re cops, the next time you get in trouble, call a crackhead.” Along with “God created the world, but everything else is made in China,” in a Senate Judiciary Committee.
These comments aren’t the first either; he has been seen saying things like:
- Senators are like cats. They do what they want.
- Oh you’re smart too, Boo. I wouldn’t let you transplant my kidney.
- These aids that work for the President, they want daddy to love them best.
- He’s on it like a cat on a fat rat.
- I don’t eat kale! You know why? Because kale tastes to me like I’d rather be fat!
- How do some of you people make it through the birth canal?
- Everybody here has politics in their blood…kinda like herpes.
Plus many more. The thing that’s really comical about this whole situation is that he is one of the people who determines the future of America, yet is seen saying whatever he wants in video edits on TikTok.
In my personal opinion, I think John Kennedy is one of the most likable MAGA politicians because of the way he says whatever pleases him. It’s funny, I have to admit, but on the other hand, do I think that a politician serving in the Senate should be comparing politics to herpes? No, I do not.
John Kennedy, while witty, doesn’t seem like the best candidate to serve Louisiana because of his lack of professionalism.
