- Branch out and do something new if you think it looks fun
- Making friends is not as scary as you think it is

- Leadership is gained by being responsible, and it’s held through being empathetic

- Being a high schooler — be communicative, make friends, and cooperate
- Don’t let your work consume you
- Don’t wait till the night of the due date to edit the video.
- Make new connections even with the upperclassmen, they turn out to make the class 10x better and can act as role models, scary at first
- Every voice is important, you might end up saying what everyone else is thinking
- If you say you’re going to do something make sure you do it
- Don’t push stuff till the last minute
- You shouldn’t have to beg for simple things
- Always have your ringer on because the groupchat is important
- First impressions matter
- Never sit in your own confusion, waiting for someone to just sense you have a question — ask, explore, and take strides to push yourself forward
- Never be afraid to ask a question, it’s better to not know and learn, then to do it wrong
- Take care of your connections, social consequences are real
- Write everything you possibly can
- If you play wonderwall in public, everybody will hate you
- Have faith in the freshmen
- Just act right
