Fall is a great time to hang out with friends.

The fall time is my personal favorite time of year. The leaves change color, the air is crisp, the leaves crunch under your feet, and the weather is unbelievable. Altogether, fall is my favorite season. There are many fun activities to do during this season as well. Going to a pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, fairy houses out of pumpkins, picking apples, or even going to corn mazes.

Picking out a few pumpkins and getting some hot chocolate or hot cider with your friends is a wonderful way to bring the autumn season to life. Pumpkin patches additionally serve as perfect photo-taking locations, always full of stunning scenery to spice up your camera roll. After getting pumpkins, you could either carve them into scary faces or into a creative fairy house. If those aren’t what you’re looking for, check out ideas for designs and create the perfect pumpkin. Later that night, you can go outside and light a candle in them to see your jack-o’-lanterns in full glory and settle even more into the fall spirit.

Picking apples is also an enjoyable fall activity. There are a couple of places around Longmont with apple picking available. It’s a fun way to get out of the house and immerse yourself more into the season. In addition to apple picking, you can use your picked fruit to make pie or candy apples for your friends and family. Picking apples and making home made goods with it is a great way to embrace the fall experience.

Corn mazes and haunted houses are the peak of the fall season. They’re bound to be a ton of fun and sate the hunger of thrill seekers. You can go late at night to receive the full spooky effect or even during the day to experience the fun. Either way, corn mazes and haunted houses are great ways to enjoy time with friends and family and get into the spooky season.

Autumn is an amazing time of the year due to the weather and surplus of great outside activities. Going to a pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, fairy houses out of pumpkins, picking apples, or even going to corn mazes are just a few of the many activities to do during this time of year. Take advantage of the weather with your friends or family and enjoy while the season lasts.
