Jenni Le (‘24) is a beginner nail tech who began doing nails last summer. Since then, she has worked dilligently on getting aquainted with creating complicated designs and longer nails.

Le takes what customers want and tries her very best to perfect them. She puts in immense effort to make sure her clients are pleased and confident.

“My favorite [nails] are probably the really long rectangular ones with all the gems and drawings,” Le said. “Those are my favorite, but they take forever.”

Because Le’s still a beginner, she struggles with time management and ensuring nails are accurate and aligned with the original request. She is trying to get more customers to gain more experience and money to fund her supplies.

“My biggest fear is someone [won’t] understand that I’m a beginner and [that it will take a while],” Le said. “[That they’ll] rush me and [be disappointed] with the results.”

Even though things can be difficult for her business at times, Le has loads of support from her close community. She mentioned that her mom supports her as much as possible since she also does nails and wants her to enter the family business. Her friends additionally express support by getting their nails done to help her gain experience.

She enjoys what she does and is excited to see where the business will take her. Le is eager to keep learning and growing as she gains more knowledge and advances in her practices. Through all this, she knows her family and friends will always support and be proud of her no matter what.

Her handle is @jennisnail777 on Instagram. More information regarding her business is posted in E wing.
