As graduation approaches, Addyson Mooradian (‘26) prepares to step confidently into the rest of her life. Known for her kindness and selflessness, Addy has spent her high school career making lifelong friendships, being an active member of communities such as the Girls’ Wrestling team, and Journalism, along with, participating in activities that will prepare her for the rest of her life.
Addy has a clear vision for where she sees herself beyond high school, and that includes growing as a person and continuing to pursue her educational opportunities.
Addyson plans on pursuing a four to six-year college degree by starting her journey at Front Range Community College. By attending Front Range for the first two years of her educational career, she hopes to boost her GPA and gather all of her prerequisites needed to transfer to a four-year university. Her approach to this, along with her determination, reflects how she plans to set herself up for success long-term and how she makes the most out of every situation thrown at her.
With aspirations of completing a six-year education, Addyson plans to study environmental science and engineering. Her passion for sustainability and energy highlights her thoughtful and compassionate approach to the world. Guided by a desire to make a meaningful impact, Addyson hopes to contribute to solutions that create positive change for both the environment and future generations by focusing on reducing the reliance on nuclear energy and turning the world sustainable.
As she looks towards her future, her four-year university aspirations look towards the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, Oregon State University, CU Boulder, and Florida State University. But, with all to be considered academically, Addy is also an amazing person inside and out!
She is known for her creativity, well-rounded personality, empathetic nature, and ambitions. She also enjoys many hobbies like staying active through sports/exercising, expressing herself through painting, writing, reading, pottery, and more. Her creative pursuits indeed don’t stop there, however. Addy has loved fashion since she was little, and thought of fashion as a potential career. She once dreamed of herself as a fashion magazine editor before her thoughts of coming into environmental science.
Addyson has always wanted to travel the world, which is so fitting for her. She dreams of living in Costa Rica, where she hopes to combine her passion for the environment with a life full of experiences and adventures!
As she prepares to graduate from Mead High School, Addy leaves behind a legacy of hard work, ambition, and creativity. Her dedication to her goals and willingness to explore new opportunities make her an exciting example of where the class of 2026 is headed.
