In Justin’s (‘25) entire high school career, he has worked towards a smooth transition into a four-year college for a Bachelor in Science of Business Administration and Management with a focus on entrepreneurship.
With perseverance, Justin has merited the Daniel Scholarship, which will fund his entire higher education at CSU.
Scaling back to his freshman year, at only 14 and independently, he started the groundwork of his passion’s development. Creating escape rooms had started off as a mere hobby, but then flourished into further exploration of his career options.
Eventually, he would like to franchise his business idea after expanding into box trailers, reaching more clients.
Clubs along the way also contributed to enhancing his passions. “I discovered, just through all the clubs I’ve been involved in related to business, how important business is to causing change in the world,” he said.
Outside of school, Justin dedicated his time to Young Americans Bank, Young American Center for Financial Education, in their YouthBiz, and was a two-time competitor for the spotlight competition with his business. Last year, he was in the top three for the Denver Metro area for ages 16-21 and participated in their youth pitch competition through the Denver Startup Week. Finally, he was involved in the Chamber Student Network (CSN), which is a student offshoot of the Longmont Chamber of Commerce.
Through school, Justin engaged in FBLA and competed at both districts, state and even national one time, to represent Colorado. Further into April, Justin will compete for the third time for FBLA this year.
Outside of his business pursuits, he enriches the community with clubs and organizations like Interact, a high school version of Rotary in Mead, as well as Table of Hope Food Pantry.
Justin looks forward to giving back to the community once he achieves financial liberty through business. “I find it really fun to turn a passion into a money-making career path and the ability to help the world because you just have so much more financial ability and freedom.”
Not only is he highly present in clubs, but he will be graduating with the AP Capstone, Business Capstone, College Board National Recognition for Rural or Small Town, and is on the path to getting the Seal of Biliteracy.
Without a doubt, Justin will further his success in life, and we wish him lots of luck on the way!
