Boston Hatrick (‘24) plans on taking an alternative route after high school and participating in ride-alongs with the Mountain View Fire Department. Growing up around a cousin who is a firefighter and a stepdad who is a part of Erie law enforcement, Boston was inspired at a very young age to follow closely in their footsteps. If and when Boston decides to pursue his education, he is looking towards Arizona State University.

Boston’s core high school memories surround his friend group ‘the Boas’; Dominic McLawrence (‘24), Tyler Reyburn (‘24), Mason Willyard (’24), Kellen Tecu (‘24), and Donovan Weese (‘24). The Boas play poker almost every weekend, which has become a staple aspect of their clique. Over spring break, they took a group vacation to Arizona, where they swam, went bowling, shopped, and tried many new restaurants.

The boys don’t know quite where ‘The Boas’ came from; “See I don’t know [how long we’ve been friends]; we’ve been together for life.” said Weese (‘24) “It just happened,”.

His favorite classes all consisted of PE courses. Game On grew to be his favorite in particular, as there aren’t as many typical class rules and you’re able to just play with more freedom.

His favorite and most impactful teacher is Coach Reese. For Boston, Reese gave him a lot of powerful and important advice throughout the classes he had with him.

Boston describes himself as a “cool guy who likes to have fun.” He doesn’t have a lot of advice for underclassmen other than to get all your work done and to keep up with school.

We wish Boston tremendous luck on his journey, and are excited to see him succeed in the future.
