Last night at 8:51 p.m., the populations of Mead and Firestone were shocked when their lights cut out, all because of a large animal.
Within 20 minutes of residents’ power going down, United Power reported that a crew had been dispatched to repair the problem. The company stated that it would take a little over an hour to fix the problem. They were right on the mark. Residents’ power started coming back around 10:00 p.m., and now all 3,222 Households have been helped with no one still affected.

The green area in the section above was where residents were affected. If you don’t use United Power, you may not have been affected. Although this problem has been fixed thanks to a quick responding repair team, people were still forced to live by candle light for a little over an hour.
