‘Spider-Man 3’ is the best Spider-Man movie (Opinion)

Spider-Man 3 powerfully depicts themes of forgiveness, redemption, sacrifice, and love

“A man to be understanding and put his wife before himself,” A quote that ultimately made Peter Parker rethink his current decision

This review contains a few small movie spoilers. Reader discretion is advised.

The third Spider-Man movie of three original movies stars the actor Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man.

During the beginning of the movie, Peter Parker encounters an alien-like creature; this thing gives Spider-Man a new black look and drastically increases his strength, along with boosting his already large ego.

He takes a small piece of the alien to his university professor, Dr. Curt Connors, where he then states that the alien shares the same characteristics as a symbiote. He later also finds out that this alien increases aggression toward it’s host.

Due to his ego, Peter Parker’s girlfriend ends things with him. He is never there for her, and he doesn’t take the time to understand how she is feeling. This scene shows how Peter has let the fame earned by his hard work get to his head.

Just after his girlfriend leaves him, he finds out that his uncle’s killer is still out there and has just recently escaped prison. He wants to get revenge, so he goes out in search of the criminal.

He finds him, but the man manages to barely escape. Peter assumes he was successful in killing his target. He goes to his aunt’s house to tell her about the incident, but after speaking with her, he learns that maybe revenge wasn’t the right choice of action.

Peter begins to realize what the alien has been doing to him and how it’s affecting others around him. He sacrifices the strength that the alien gave him, in hopes of turning his life around.

Parker learns to forgive his uncle’s murder upon hearing the truth, and wants to redeem himself to be a better man for the girl he loves. I enjoyed this scene because it shows how he learns to forgive someone who has caused him so much suffering.

This movie shows that we always have choices to make, and it’s our decision to make the right ones. Along with that, there will always be tough times, but with people there to help, there is nothing that is impossible.

I absolutely love this movie; I rate it 10/10.
